Fresh, intensely fragrant, and simply delicious: The Cloudy Bay Chardonnay from New Zealand's world-renowned Marlborough wine region is a white wine that leaves a lasting impression. Notes of white peach, apricot, and warm hay, along with floral tones, characterize the bouquet. On the palate, it is dense, with a wonderful array of apple and pear flavors, finely balanced by notes of vanilla and hazelnut. Subtle saline notes complete the picture. A touch of acidity (citrus) lends freshness to this dry white wine and opens up the long finish.
The Cloudy Bay Chardonnay was aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, with 20% of the barrels being new.
Enjoy this creation from the renowned Cloudy Bay winery, for example, with a delicate arrangement of goat cheese with baguette, apple jam, and hazelnuts, or with plaice meuni�re. Important: The wine should not be served colder than 12 degrees Celsius to allow the full intensity of aromas in this New Zealand Chardonnay to develop.
